Women in Sport Week 2023
The 2023 Women in Sport Week took place from 6th – 12th March. The aim of WIS Week is to introduce a wide variety of inclusive activities specifically for women and girls to enjoy and also highlight the benefits of being active in a social and supportive environment. Women in Sport Week provide greater visibility of the opportunities available for all females to become more involved in sport and physical activity.
Meath LSP hosted 8 Come & Try taster events and programmes to showcase the diversity and inclusion for all women in sport and physical activity – this seven-day programme focuses on Girls and Women of all AGES, ABILITIES and FITNESS LEVELS
