Swimmin’Women Midlife Programme

Swimmin’Women Midlife

Meath LSP and Swim Ireland are collaborating to bring a new programme for midlife women. Swimmin’Women Midlife is an inclusive swim programme empowering mid-life women to participate in aquatic sports. The programme provides women with a fun opportunity to experience the benefits of the water and understand how aquatic activities that can support you throughout your life cycle.

Swimmin’ Women Midlife is a 6-week programme and includes a variety of water activity sessions such as: Stretching, Aerobics, Resistance, Ai Chi and Balance exercises. Information on peri-menopause and menopause and its relationship with aquatics is provided to participants along with women’s health physiotherapy advice.
