Another successful year for Games on the Beach in 2024.
We were delighted to join forces once again with our partners in Foróige and the East Coast Family Resource Center on this fantastic annual event.
2024 marks the 5th year for the event and saw a record number of 121 children and young people in attendance over the course of the day. The morning session catered for children aged 8-12 and the afternoon session hosting young people aged 12 – 17 with an inclusive session for children with disabilities running in the afternoon also.
This year all the participants had the opportunity to join in with 4 sports, Soccer, Olympic Handball, Volleyball and Tag Rugby.
This would not have been possible without the efforts of the amazing coaches from Olympic Handball Ireland, Volleyball Ireland and Leinster rugby, and of course not forgetting our very own Meath LSP coaches who headed up the soccer portion of the day.
A special thanks to the Community Garda who came along on the day to support the event.
We cant wait to be back with Games on the Beach in 2025!
