Beach Wheelchairs for hire!

Meath Local Sports Partnership in collaboration with Meath County council are delighted to offer two Beach Wheelchairs for use at Bettystown Beach.  The Beach Wheelchairs aim to assist people with a physical disability and does with reduced mobility in accessing the Beach.

HIPPOCAMPE Beach Wheelchair & Terra Wheels Beach Wheelchair

  • The wheelchair is for use within the designated Lifeguard Area on Bettystown Beach Co. Meath
  • The wheelchair may be collected from the Meath County Council East Meath Civic Centre once booked
  • Pre-booking of the chair is essential, chairs will not be available unless booked in advance
  • The wheelchair is available between 10am – 5pm Monday – Sunday
