Become a Contractor with Meath LSP

OVERVIEW & CRITERIA

Meath LSP engages qualified and experienced contactors to deliver community sport and physical activity programmes and initiatives in Meath each year. 

The selection of contractors is on an ad-hoc basis and via an expression of interest process, where a panel will be formed of those who meet the required criteria. 

Meath LSP seeks contractors for the following: 

Physical Activity & Exercise: 

• Children & Youth 
• Adults aged 55 years+
• Women & Girls 
• Men aged 35 years+
• Disadvantaged communities 
• Minority & Ethnic groups

Sports (in particular social sports):

• Sport Specific (e.g. Basketball, Volleyball etc) 
• Disability Sports 

Selection Criteria: 

• Tax compliant / VAT registered (when applicable) 
• Professional Indemnity + Public Liability insurance
• Qualification in Exercise/Fitness instruction, Sports Coaching or Similar (eg. QQI Level 5/6, Higher Certificate Degree) NCEF, REPS, EHFA accreditation. 

SELECTION PROCESS 

Please note that Meath LSP programmes and initiatives are run on an ad-hoc basis during the calendar year and are subject to funding. 

All successful contractors will be required to complete Meath LSP’s contractor onboarding process, including: 

• Submission of Garda Vetting documentation + Insurance documentation 
• Confirmation of tax status / VAT registration
• Signing of contract for services

Once the contractor has provided the information listed above, Meath LSP will review this information and establish a panel of preferred contractors for 2026.

Please note: Inclusion on the panel does not constitute a contract of employment or guarantee of work. All programmes are subject to Meath LSP’s funding and operational priorities.
