Meath LSP is delighted to announce the return of the 12th Royal County 5km & 10km Run/Walk on Bank Holiday Monday 1st May in Kells!
The event is organised by Meath Local Sports Partnership with the support of the Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells AC, St. Brigid’s AC, Kells Gardai, Club Active Kells, Kells Swimming Pool, Kells Municipal District, Civil Defence and local volunteers. Suitable for runners, joggers and walkers! Participants must be over 16yrs to enter the 10km and over 12yrs to enter the 5km distance. *NO REGISTRATIONS ON THE DAY*
Age Requirements
Participants must be over 16yrs to enter the 10km and over 12yrs to enter the 5km distance. Entry fee is the same for all ages.
What is included in your entry fee?
Entry fee includes chip-timing and technical t-shirt. If you have registered after 18th April, your t-shirt & number can be collected on the day from 9.15am-10.30am in the Kenlis Suite, Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells.

Light refreshments will be provided in the Headfort Arms Hotel post event.
Safety
This is a leisure event, run on open roads. Please note that some road conditions will not be ideal for running, you are advised to take due care for your own safety and safety of those in your care. Buggies and strollers are permitted but participation is at own risk. These participants must assemble at the rear and give way to runners at all times. Dogs are not permitted.

Cash prizes on the day for 5k & 10k male/female winners & category prizes for runner-up places – make sure your club is represented!
10.30am: 10km
11am: 5km
All routes start & finish on Cannon Street, Kells, Co. Meath (in front of the Round Tower Monument).
5km: €20
10km: €25
*Virtual option also available. Cost is €20 for 10km or €15 for 5km. Entry includes t-shirt and postage.
