European Week of Sport 2021

European Week of Sport takes place on 23rd -30th September. This week is for everyone, regardless of age ability, background or fitness level. The aim is to inspire everyone to #BeActive on a regular basis and create opportunities in peoples everyday lives to exercise more. All events and activities are FREE and will be delivered in line with HSE guidelines.

Pre- registration is required as places are limited! Places will be offered on a first come  basis. Please email relevant person below to book.

EWOS – Beach Volleyball-Beach Cricket – Saturday 25th September 11am-1pm

Beach Volleyball-Beach Cricket – a dual beach events for both children from 6yrs to 12 yrs and also teens 13yrs – 17yrs. All participants have the opportunity to take part in Beach Volleyball and Beach Cricket. The event is free of charge but registration is necessary – please register on the following link:

EWOS – Orienteering – Sunday 26th September 11am-1pm in Blackwater Park, Navan.

Come and Try Orienteering as part of European Week of Sport. The Orienteering Event is suitable for all the family and will incorporate the original orienteering experience using maps and control cards and also the new MapRunF online orienteering which requires a smart phone. EWOS Pilates – Eureka House, Kells – Thursday 30th September at 11am

Pilates is a great way to improve flexibility, and core strength. It’s a challenging low-impact form of exercise and can improve posture and stability. This class is free of charge but registration is necessary, please see link below. The class is taking place in Eureka House, Kells on Thursday 30th September at 11am. Please bring a yoga mat and bottle of water. Social distancing rules will apply – places are strictly limited.
