European Week of Sport

2025 marks 10 years of the European Week of Sport, a celebration of movement, health, and community across Ireland and Europe. This year’s campaign invites everyone to take a small but meaningful step: Move More, Scroll Less. In a world where screens constantly compete for our attention, this campaign is a call to pause the scroll and reconnect with real-life movement.

Whether it’s a walk in your neighbourhood, a game with friends, or simply spending time outdoors, moving more supports our mental well-being, boosts confidence, and fosters connection. At its core, the European Week of Sport is about Inclusion, Well-being, and Belonging. Sport and physical activity are for everyone so no matter your age, background, ability, or fitness level. Whether you’re starting out or returning to movement, this is your invitation to find your way to move more in a way that suits you.

As part of this milestone 10-year campaign, we’re celebrating a decade of progress and inspiring stories through a special anniversary video and a new video series that highlight real people choosing to move more and scroll less in their daily lives.

Join us from 23 to 30 September 2025 to be part of this movement, because when we move more and scroll less, we feel better, connect deeper, and belong stronger.
