Meath Local Sports Paratnership`s Operation Motivation programme commenced last weekend with a number of walks rolling out across the county. Walks were organised in conjunction with Operation Transformation National Walk day. Throughout the county over 550 participants turned out in Trim, Navan, Ashbourne, Kells, Cormeen, Castletown and Dunboyne. Despite the rain and wind, organisers were particularly pleased with the number of families who took part on the day.
Meath LSP would like to extend their thanks to the Civil Defence and local volunteers for their assistance in organising the walks.
The Operation Motivation walking programme continues in 18 different locations in Meath. All walks are free to enter & open to all ages; buggies welcome.
