IOHA Level 0 Introduction to Handball Coaching Course

The annual IOHA Level 0 introduction to handball coaching course will take place in Ashbourne Community School on Saturday May 11th from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.

The course will be delivered by the association’s Technical Director, Andrea Ongaro ( who is copied in CC ) and the 2018 M18 National team coach, Alexander Markovic.

Meath has a proud handball tradition with Meath Primary schools regularly winning the IOHA’s Leinster Championship.

The IOHA’s ambition is that a Club with both senior and junior members will be established and develop in Meath and participate in IOHA competitions.

The course is aimed at Primary and Secondary school teachers, youth club leaders, multi sport coaches, parents or anyone with an interest in becoming a handball coach. Previous experience of handball is not necessary but a minimum age of 16 is preferable.

Participants will receive a Sport Ireland recognised coaching award and will be eligible to enroll in the IOHA’s Level 1 Coaching Course.
