About The Event

An Post Meath Heritage Cycle Tour is part of the An Post Cycle series which takes place over the summer. The other four counties involved include - Sligo, Clare,Waterford and Cork.

The aim of the events is to rekindle an awareness in cycling, to increase participation in cycling and to offer opportunities for cyclists to participate.

The events are organised locally by the Sports Partnerships in association with An Post and the Irish Sports Council.

The event will take place on Sunday 29th July 2012.

There are 4 routes in the Meath event - 11km Family Spin, 50km Tara Loop, 100km Royal Tour and the 160km Royal Challenge.

The event has been made possible through the positive co-operation between Meath Local Sports Partnership and Meath Local Authorities.
