Meath LSP in conjunction with a number of National Governing Bodies of Sport & Organisations, have put together the following skills and challenges in a range of different sports to help people of all ages to remain active whilst adhering to the HSE physical distancing guidelines. Click links below for further information.

These games are FUN for all the family. They are easy to understand, easy to replicate and require very little equipment!

Online Dance Classes

Meath LSP would like to introduce their first Online Dance Tutorial suitable for teens and adults! Our dance tutor Aisling Rountree will lead you through a step by step tutorial of the song “We’re all in this together” from the hit movie “High School Musical”!  From start to finish this amazing dance tutorial will make it easy for you to learn the complete dance routine in one week.

Online Fitness Challenge

If you want to test your current level of physical fitness and improve your muscular & aerobic endurance this challenge is for you! Suitable for teens & adults! This fitness challenge will be split into 3 weeks of planned training sessions and you can challenge yourself to complete the Irish Army fitness test on week 4.

The Daily Mile at Home Challenge

The Daily Mile is an easy and fun way to incorporate exercise into our daily activity.  It is for the whole family regardless of age and ability.

RTE Home School Hub

The RTE Home School Hub is an excellent programme delivered by RTE in conjunction with primary school teachers. Check out RTE2 @ 11am each day. Catch up programme at 4.15pm shows primary school children from all over the country posting video messages and showcasing what they have been doing. Great ideas here! See
